morning room reveal

I told you this was coming! It's here... my morning room reveal. This room is one of the most used rooms in the house because it's where we eat ;) Minus the lack of window treatments, I adore this room. It's large, with a lot of open space, and you may have noticed, nothing but windows!

I actually shared those framed burlap prints a couple of months ago.

Those EAT letters are the newest addition to the space.

Because our table is 60 inches round, we decided to go ahead and get six chairs for it. However, we are only a family of four, so for now the extra two are just placed to the sides.

These dining chairs were such a great find at overstock.

This beauty came from restoration hardware. And even though we only bought this table one year ago, it's already retired! They still have lots of round table options, however this concrete top version is no longer on their website.

This light was the first thing to go into this room. We ordered almost all our lighting from pottery barn throughout the house. This one's called napa wine barrel. I love what this light fixture does for this room :)

So there you go! There's my morning room. This space gets so much light! When it's diffused by direction or clouds it's wonderful. However, then its direct it can get really warm in this room. I'm hoping to find a great window treatment option for this space... hopefully in the near future.

{new} morning room decor + reveal sneak peek

happy saturday!!

My home tour is lacking a few rooms... okay, more than a few! However, there's one that's about time to reveal because it's a room we spend a lot of time in. Our morning room. Now I did say "about"... but here's a new piece decor I just recently put up in our morning room to give you a little sneak peek ;) I'll do a reveal for the morning room here real soon, promise!

I wasn't looking for decor for my morning... in fact, when I saw these I originally thought kitchen. However, I really don't have any wall space in my kitchen. So the only way for these farmhouse letters to go in my kitchen would be to be propped on my countertop against my backsplash, which could be cute. However, when I pulled them out the box, it hit me "these would go great in the morning room."

You have actually already been exposed to my morning room... if you saw my burlap print post - that was in my morning room.

Now, back to my {new} morning room decor...

I got these at pier 1 {online} when they were on clearance for $20.
Since they were a clearance item, they are sold out now.

However, since these are sold out, of course, I thought I'd share you some other great options!

There are endless options on Etsy...

I was so excited to get these up. I actually only used command's refill strips, two on each letter.

wicker side table {take 2}

I'm on take 2 of my wicker side table refurbish. To refresh your memory {from monday} - it started off white, and here's what take 1 did for it.

After my original thought of a soft blue failing, I decided to go a bit more neutral with my next take.
I kind of wanted black, but was afraid it would turn out too overwhelming.
I went with a black top and beige bottom.
I selected my colors at Lowes, and used Valspar's indoor/outdoor spray paint.

I'm happy with it for now. Now, I need to finish this porch makeover!
